Branching out

One of the things I really enjoy is creating these little stitchery pillows. The one in this picture is inspired by my love of birds and it is one of my very favorites because it captures the spirit of creativity...branching out. We all spend so much time TRYING to come up with creative ideas, but they flow so much better when you just stretch yourself a little and see what happens.

In the spirit of branching out, I am taking a poll to see what you think I should do. Please vote. I would love to know where you think my energy is best spent!

these are so cute I'm sure others would like to make these not just buy the ready made ones. k

That is adorable and would love to see more of these little pillows. As far as where your energies should go, they should be following your heart. That is what I would most like to see. If it makes you happy, it will make other people happy.

Hey there dw. I personally like handmade things. I do think you should follow your heart like Patricia said. However, people do like to make stuff too so what about a kit? Just thinking.

I think the pillow is talking to you. I know if you do the things you enjoy the most the energy around the item makes it sell itself.Go with what brings you the most pleasure.

Hi Cathy, your little bird pillow is just as cute as can be. How about a set of them or just a matching pillow for a pair.... A kit is a good idea and if you like to design, how about selling just the designs. I know I love to embroider and have purchased designs just because I love them and hope to embroider them one day. Like Pat says, if it makes you happy....then it is the right path to take!!

Hi Carolyn!

The pillow is so sweet! I love it. Since you love birds I would definitely create more of what you love. I also think that a kit would be a great idea too. I can't wait to see more pretty pillows like that one!

Carolyn,
Thank you for visiting my blog. I really like your pillow. I think you should sell a kit to make them as well as the finished pillow.
Good luck with what ever you decide to do!
